01

The classroom problem

Writing mechanics is often practised one rule at a time, with the connections between mechanics, sentence shape, and paragraph craft left for students to assemble themselves. The opportunity was to build a single coherent studio where those sixteen pieces sit together as one continuous learning journey.

02

The response

One coherent studio of sixteen lessons running from mechanics (capitals, punctuation, apostrophes) through sentence work (subject–verb agreement, linkers, sequence) to paragraph craft (topic sentences, supporting details, full structure). Annotated examples, flawed-paragraph studies, sentence maps, and a built-in writing canvas sit on the same surface.
