The classroom problem
Spelling improves through spaced, careful repetition, but by Cycle 3 a plain word list is the least appealing homework a student can be handed — and senior classes rarely defend dedicated spelling time.
The response
The whole game was rebuilt from a quick-fire round into an arena campaign. Every word set becomes a gem to clear and a gatekeeper to defeat: students study a loadout first (tap any word to hear it), then face dictation rounds — hear the word, type what you hear — with a combo multiplier that rewards clean streaks. Bosses like the Vowel Reaper guard each gate, while a persistent avatar, rank, XP and daily streak carry progress across sessions. An in-app Teacher Studio lets a teacher set the lists and run the arena as a class battle.
